Event Welcoming the January 2025 Postgraduate Intake at NUS!

The NUS Graduate Students’ Society (NUS-GSS) 39th Executive Committee had the privilege of participating in a series of orientation events to warmly welcome the newest postgraduate students joining NUS this January. These sessions were a testament to the vibrant and supportive community that awaits every new member of our graduate family.

At these events, NUS-GSS shared valuable insights to help new students transition smoothly into university life. These included the OSA Graduate Welcome, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Orientation, and the College of Design and Engineering (CDE) Graduate Programmes Orientation. These gatherings offered opportunities to connect, network, and build relationships with peers, faculty, and staff, fostering a sense of belonging from the start.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to OSA, FASS, and CDE for organizing such impactful events. A special thanks to Associate Professor Kah-Hin Chai, Yong Jie Lee, Pearly Ang Pei Yu, and Kbrence Ng for their unwavering support and dedication to welcoming our new students.

To all the new postgraduate students, we extend our warmest welcome to the NUS community. NUS-GSS is here to support you every step of the way as you embark on this exciting academic journey. Together, let’s make this chapter a truly transformative and enriching experience!
